யாழ்ப்பாணம் காரைநகர்-பண்டித்தாழ்வு பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த கோணலிங்கம் சுந்தரலிங்கம் (வயது 47) என்பவருக்கு நேற்று முன்தினம் (22) காலை 3-4 தடவைகள் மூக்காலும் வாயாலும் இரத்தம் வந்தது.
இதனையடுத்து அவர் வலந்தலை வைத்தியசாலைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டு, பின்னர் யாழ்ப்பாண போதனா வைத்தியசாலைக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டார்.
இருப்பினும், அங்கு சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி நேற்று (23) காலை சுமார் 10 மணியளவில் அவர் உயிரிழந்தார்.
அவரது சடலத்தின் மீது திடீர் மரண விசாரணை அதிகாரி நமசிவாயம் பிரேம்குமார் மரண விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டார்.
உடற்கூறு பரிசோதனைக்காக சடலம் யாழ்ப்பாண போதனா வைத்தியசாலையில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
A 47-year-old man, Konalinkam Sundaralingam, from Pandiththalavu, Kayts, Jaffna, died yesterday (the 23th) around 10 AM at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital after he experienced bleeding from his nose and mouth 3-4 times on the morning of the day before yesterday (the 23rd). He was initially taken to Valanthalai Hospital and then transferred to the Teaching Hospital, but passed away despite treatment. The inquest into his death was conducted by the Sudden Death Inquiry Officer, Namasivayam Premkumar, and the body has been placed in the Jaffna Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
