பச்சிளம் குழந்தையுடன் கடலில் பாய்ந்த பெண்!

கொழும்பு, கொள்ளுப்பிட்டி கடற்கரையில் நேற்று (7) கடலில் விழுந்த ஒரு வயது இரண்டு மாதக் குழந்தை காணாமல் போனதாகக் கொள்ளுப்பிட்டி பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.

சம்பவத்தில் கடலில் விழுந்த தாய், மீட்கப்பட்டு கொழும்பு தேசிய வைத்தியசாலையில் சிகிச்சைக்காக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

தற்கொலைக்கு முயற்சி?

பொலிஸாரின் விசாரணையில், கணவருடன் ஏற்பட்ட தகராறின் காரணமாக அந்தப் பெண் தனது குழந்தையுடன் வெலிமடைப் பகுதியிலிருந்து கொள்ளுப்பிட்டிக்கு வந்ததாகத் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

மேலும், அந்தப் பெண்ணின் கணவர் நுவரெலியா பகுதியில் உள்ள ஒரு காவல் நிலையத்தில் பணிபுரியும் பொலிஸ் அதிகாரி என்பதும் தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.

குடும்பத் தகராறால் அந்தப் பெண், தனது குழந்தையுடன் கடலில் குதித்து தற்கொலைக்கு முயன்றாரா என்பது குறித்து பொலிஸார் மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.

A one-year-and-two-month-old baby went missing after falling into the sea at Kollupitiya Beach in Colombo yesterday. The mother, who also fell into the water, was rescued and admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. Police investigations have revealed that the woman traveled to Kollupitiya from Welimada following an argument with her husband, a police officer stationed in Nuwara Eliya. Authorities are currently investigating whether the incident was a suicide attempt stemming from a domestic dispute.
