கைது செய்யப்பட்ட வைத்தியர், அந்தக் கார் தனது கணவருக்குச் சொந்தமானது என்று பொலிஸாரிடம் கூறியுள்ளார். விசாரணையின் போது, அந்தக் காருக்கு எந்த ஆவணங்களும் அவரிடம் இல்லை என்பது தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

A 48-year-old female doctor was arrested in Kandy for driving a car with a fraudulent license plate. The doctor, who claimed the car belonged to her husband, could not produce any documents for the vehicle. An investigation by the Kandy Crimes Division revealed that the license plate on the car belonged to her brother-in-law’s vehicle.
