பணமோசடித் தடுப்புச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் கைது செய்யப்பட்ட போதைப்பொருள் கடத்தல்காரர் ‘பெக்கோ சமன்’ என்பவரின் மனைவி ஷாதிகா லக்ஷனி, எதிர்வரும் 18ஆம் திகதி வரை விளக்கமறியலில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். கொழும்பு நீதவான் நீதிமன்றம் இந்த உத்தரவை நேற்று (4) பிறப்பித்தது.
நேற்று கொழும்பு பிரதான நீதவான் அசங்க எஸ். போதரகம முன்னிலையில் ஷாதிகா ஆஜர்படுத்தப்பட்டபோது, அவருடன் அவரது மூன்று வயது மகள் அழைத்து வரப்பட்டிருந்தார். தனது மகளைப் பெற்றோரிடம் ஒப்படைப்பதாக ஷாதிகா நீதிமன்றத்திடம் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
Wife of ‘Pekko Saman’ Remanded in Money Laundering Case
Shadhika Lakshani, the wife of notorious drug trafficker ‘Pekko Saman’, has been remanded until the 18th of this month on charges of money laundering. The order was issued yesterday (4) by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court when she was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama. She had brought her three-year-old daughter to court and informed the magistrate that she would hand her over to her parents.
