துன்னாலை வடக்கு, கரவெட்டி பகுதியில் வீட்டு கிணற்றில் தவறி விழுந்த நான்கு வயது குழந்தை ஒன்று உயிரிழந்துள்ளது.
நேற்று (10) காலை வீட்டில் தந்தையுடன் குழந்தை இருந்துள்ளது. சிறிது நேரத்தின் பின் உறக்கத்திலிருந்து கண் விழித்த தந்தை, மகனைக் காணாமல் பதற்றத்துடன் தேடியுள்ளார்.
அப்போது, சிறுவன் கிணற்றுக்குள் விழுந்து கிடப்பதைக் கண்ட உறவினர்கள் அவனை உடனடியாக மீட்டு, பருத்தித்துறை ஆதார வைத்தியசாலைக்குக் கொண்டு சென்றுள்ளனர். எனினும், குழந்தை ஏற்கனவே உயிரிழந்துவிட்டதாக வைத்தியர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
குழந்தையின் மரணம் குறித்துப் பருத்தித்துறை திடீர் மரண விசாரணை அதிகாரி விசாரணைகளை மேற்கொண்டார்.
இந்தச் சம்பவம் குறித்து நெல்லியடிப் பொலிஸார் மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை மேற்கொண்டதுடன், குழந்தையின் சடலம் பெற்றோரிடம் கையளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
A four-year-old child tragically died after accidentally falling into a well at their home in Thunnale North, Karaveddy. The incident occurred yesterday (10) morning when the father, upon waking up, found the child missing and subsequently discovered the boy in the well. Although the child was rushed to the Point Pedro Base Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Point Pedro sudden death inquest officer conducted an inquiry, and the Nelliyadi Police are carrying out further investigations before handing the body over to the parents.
