கிளிநொச்சி – பிரமந்தனாறு கல்லாறு பகுதியில் உள்ள வீடொன்றின் பின் பகுதியில் இருந்து 26 கிலோ கேரளா கஞ்சா மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
நேற்றைய தினம் இரவு இச் சம்பவம் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. புலனாய்வுத் துறையினருக்குக் கிடைக்கப்பெற்ற இரகசியத் தகவலின் அடிப்படையில், கல்லாறு பகுதி முழுவதும் விசேட சுற்றிவளைப்பு மற்றும் தேடுதல் நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டன.
இதன்போது, வீட்டின் பின்புறத்தில் மறைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த குறித்த 26 கிலோ கஞ்சா மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனினும், இந்தக் கஞ்சா மீட்கப்பட்ட சுற்றிவளைப்பின் போது, சந்தேக நபர்கள் அங்கிருந்து தப்பிச்சென்றுவிட்டதாகப் பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
இவ் சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை தர்மபுரம் பொலிஸார் தொடர்ந்து மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.
Twenty-six kilograms of Kerala Ganja (Cannabis) were recovered from the backyard of a house in the Kallaru area of Piranthanaru, Kilinochchi, yesterday night. The seizure followed a special cordon and search operation conducted based on an intelligence tip-off. Although the large quantity of narcotics was found, police reported that the suspects managed to escape during the raid.
