கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட குறித்த நபருக்குத் தொலைபேசி அழைப்பொன்று வந்துள்ளது. அதன் பின்னர், அவர் தனது மோட்டார் சைக்கிளில் வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறியுள்ளார்.
நீண்ட நேரமாகியும் வீடு திரும்பாததால் உறவினர்கள் அவரைத் தேடியபோது, வீட்டின் அருகே உள்ள வீதியில் வெட்டுக் காயங்களுடன் அவர் கிடந்துள்ளார். உடனடியாக வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட போதும், அவர் உயிரிழந்துவிட்டதாகப் பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
சடலம் தற்போது பருத்தித்துறை ஆதார வைத்தியசாலையில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தச் சம்பவம் தொடர்பான விசாரணைகளை நெல்லியடிப் பொலிஸார் தீவிரமாக மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.
A youth was hacked to death last night (18) in the Koodavalavu, Karainavai area of Vadamarachchi, Jaffna. According to initial reports, the victim received a phone call and then left his home on his motorcycle. When he did not return, a search revealed his body lying on a nearby road with multiple cut injuries. Although he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The body is currently at Point Pedro Base Hospital, and the Nelliyadi Police are conducting an intensive investigation into the murder.
