வெல்லவாய – தனமல்வில பிரதான வீதியில், யாலபோவ டிப்போவிற்கு எதிரே இன்று (08) காலை, ஒரு லொறியும் மோட்டார் வாகனமும் மோதியதில் விபத்து ஏற்பட்டது.
இந்த விபத்தில் மோட்டார் வாகனத்தில் பயணித்த இருவர் காயமடைந்துள்ளனர். அவர்கள் வெல்லவாய ஆதார வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். விபத்தின் காரணமாக, லொறி வீதியில் கவிழ்ந்ததால் போக்குவரத்து பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
இந்த விபத்துச் சம்பவம் குறித்து வெல்லவாய பொலிஸார் மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.

An accident occurred today morning on the Wellawaya-Thanamalwila main road near the Yalabowa depot, involving a lorry and a car. Two individuals traveling in the car were injured and have been admitted to the Wellawaya Base Hospital. Due to the lorry overturning on the road, traffic was affected. Wellawaya police are conducting further investigations.
