The Ministry of Health has announced that the possibilities of establishing a Steering Committee to digitally transform the free healthcare sector of the country are currently under review.
A special discussion on establishing this steering committee was recently held at the main auditorium of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, chaired by the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Nalinda Jayatissa. The discussion extensively explored the possibilities of digitally transforming the national free health system in line with the National Health Policy to be implemented for the next ten years (2026-2035), as well as the short-term and long-term methods to be followed.
