ஏறாவூர் பிரதேசத்தில் போதை பொருள் வியாபார விற்பனை நிலையமாக செயற்பட்டு வந்த வீடு ஒன்றை நேற்று (26) முற்றுகையிட்ட பொலிசார், பெண் வியாபாரி ஒருவரை 5350 மில்லிகிராம் ‘ஐஸ்’ போதை பொருளுடன் கைது செய்ததுடன், அவரிடமிருந்து 3 இலட்சத்து 61 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் பணத்தை மீட்டுள்ளதாக ஏறாவூர் பொலிசார் தெரிவித்தனர்.

மாவட்ட புலனாய்வுப் பிரிவினருக்கு கிடைத்த இரகசியத் தகவல் ஒன்றினை அடுத்து, ஏறாவூர் பொலிஸ் நிலைய பெரும் குற்றத்தடுப்பு பிரிவுப் பொறுப்பதிகாரி தலைமையிலான குழுவினர் நேற்று (அக்டோபர் 26) குறித்த பிரதேசத்திலுள்ள ஏறாவூர் முதலாம் பிரிவிலுள்ள வீதியில் உள்ள போதைப்பொருள் விற்பனை செய்து வந்த வீட்டைப் பொலிசார் முற்றுகையிட்டனர்.
இதன் போது அங்கு வியாபாரத்தில் ஈடுபட்டு வந்த 56 வயதுடைய பெண் வியாபாரியை 5,350 மில்லிகிராம் ‘ஐஸ்’ போதைப்பொருளுடன் கைது செய்தனர்.
இவ்வாறு கைது செய்யப்பட்ட பெண் நீண்டகாலமாகப் போதைப்பொருள் வியாபாரத்தில் ஈடுபட்டு வந்துள்ளதாகவும், அவரை திங்கட்கிழமை (27) நீதிமன்றில் ஆஜர்படுத்த நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொண்டு வருவதாகவும் பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
The Eravur Police reported that they raided a house operating as a drug sales center in the Eravur area yesterday (the 26th), resulting in the arrest of a 56-year-old female dealer with 5,350 milligrams of ‘Ice’ (Crystal Methamphetamine) and the recovery of Rs. 361,000 in cash. The operation was conducted by a team led by the OIC of the Eravur Police Major Crimes Division, acting on a tip-off from the District Intelligence Unit. Police stated that the arrested woman has been involved in the drug trade for a long time and is scheduled to be produced before the court today (Monday, the 27th).
