இலங்கை மத்திய வங்கியின் நாணயக் கொள்கை சபை, தனது கொள்கை வட்டி வீதத்தை தற்போது உள்ள மட்டத்திலேயே மாற்றமில்லாமல் தொடர்ந்து பேண முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
அதன்படி, ஓரிரவு கொள்கை வீதத்தை 7.75% ஆகத் தொடர்ந்து பேண தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நேற்று (23) நடைபெற்ற நாணயக் கொள்கை சபைக் கூட்டத்தில் இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
உள்நாட்டு மற்றும் உலகளாவிய பொருளாதார நிலவரங்களை கவனமாகப் பரிசீலித்த பின்னரே இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டதாக இலங்கை மத்திய வங்கி அறிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த நாணயக் கொள்கை நிலைப்பாடு, பணவீக்கத்தை 5% இலக்கை நோக்கி நகர்த்த உதவும் என்றும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The Monetary Policy Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to maintain its key policy rates at their current levels, following a meeting held yesterday (23rd). The decision to keep the overnight policy rate at 7.75% was made after careful consideration of both domestic and global economic trends, with the aim of helping to move inflation towards its 5% target.
