The Department of Meteorology has forecasted the possibility of rain or thundershowers in most parts of the country after 1:00 PM. Moderate to heavy rainfall, exceeding 75 mm, is expected in isolated areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, and Uva provinces, as well as in Kalutara and Ampara districts. Rain is also anticipated in the Northern Province and Trincomalee district during the morning. Furthermore, foggy conditions are expected in the early morning in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and Uva provinces, along with the Ampara district.
