யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற விபத்தில் இளைஞன் ஒருவர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.

தெல்லிப்பழை சந்திக்கு அருகில் நேற்றைய தினம் (திங்கட்கிழமை) இரவு இடம்பெற்ற விபத்தில், மயிலிட்டியைச் சேர்ந்த வசந்த் (வயது 35) எனும் இளைஞனே உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.
மோட்டார் சைக்கிளில் சென்ற இளைஞன், மற்றுமொரு மோட்டார் சைக்கிள் ஒன்றுடன் மோதி விபத்துக்குள்ளாகிய நிலையில், வீதியில் விழுந்த வேளை வீதியில் வந்த கனரக வாகனம் இளைஞனுடன் மோதியதில் இளைஞன் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.
உயிரிழந்த இளைஞனின் சடலம் உடற்கூற்றுப் பரிசோதனைக்காக தெல்லிப்பழை வைத்தியசாலையில் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சம்பவம் தொடர்பில் பொலிஸார் மேலதிக விசாரணைகளை முன்னெடுத்துள்ளனர்.
A young man tragically died instantly in an accident that occurred near the Tellippalai Junction in Jaffna last night (Monday).
The deceased was identified as Vasanth (35), a resident of Myliddy. The incident occurred when the youth, who was riding a motorcycle, collided with another motorcycle and fell onto the road. He was then struck by a heavy vehicle that was travelling on the road, causing his immediate death at the scene.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the Tellippalai Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the police are conducting further investigations.
