The Department of Meteorology has forecast the likelihood of rain or thundershowers in most parts of the country after 1:00 PM, with moderately heavy rainfall exceeding 100 mm expected in some areas of the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, North Central, and North Western provinces.
